Alumni and students who have volunteered to donate can now be found by blood group and city.
More than a hundred members have joined the association blood donor network since it opened.
Students facing an emergency can search by blood group and city and message a donor directly through the platform. No phone number is exposed unless the donor has chosen to make it visible.
To join, set your blood group on your profile and switch on "available to donate". You can switch it off at any time.
